The Full Story

Our why...

Visi Mentoring was created for the young people who don’t quite fit the system. For the families who are doing their best, but still feeling stuck.

We saw the gap.

Not every young person is in crisis, but that doesn’t mean they’re coping.
Not every teen is ready for therapy, but that doesn’t mean they don’t need support.
Sometimes, they just need something.

Something steady.
Someone who gets it.

A calm, non-clinical space where they can show up as they are, without pressure to perform or explain.

Visi was built from experience, years of supporting young people behind the scenes, holding space in classrooms, in community, and now, as a parent too.

It was also built from values:
Presence over pressure. Connection before correction. Support that adapts, not expects.

We don’t replace clinical services, schools, or families.
We simply walk alongside them.  Gently bridging the gap when nothing else fits.

Because every young person deserves to feel seen.

Every parent deserves to feel supported.

And sometimes the most powerful thing we can offer is not a solution, but a steady hand to walk the road with.

Mission

Simply, our mission is to fill the gap.

We are here to sit in the space in between, where many of our young people get lost.

Not here to fix, change or diagnose.

We are here to walk alongside.

Vision

To create a gentler kind of support. One where young people feel safe, seen, and genuinely understood.

Our vision is a future where mentoring is recognised as a vital part of the support system for neurodivergent and emotionally overwhelmed young people. We imagine a world where connection is prioritised, where presence is enough, and where no young person falls through the cracks simply because they don’t fit into a box.

Visi is here to be part of that shift. One relationship at a time.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens in a session?

Each session is shaped by the young person’s needs. Some days are about talking things through; others might involve tools for emotional regulation, strategies for communication, or just creating space to pause and reconnect. There’s no pressure to perform or “work through” anything. We meet them where they’re at.

How are sessions delivered?

All sessions are held online via secure video call. This makes them easy to access from home or school and keeps the experience flexible and consistent, no matter where you’re based.

Can mentoring be used alongside therapy or school supports?

Absolutely. Visi works best when it complements other supports. We’re not here to replace what’s already working, we simply fill the gap that often exists between professional services and natural supports like family, school, or community.
